Dunedin Taxi was established in 1986 as a Private Hire & Taxi Service for Edinburgh. It has a fleet of 31 vehicles and provides an array of services including account work, wedding cars, city tours and airport transfers.

As the taxi industry developed with new technologies, Dunedin wanted to stay ahead of its competitors and approached Haulmont. Dunedin required a realistically priced system capable of automatically dispatching jobs to vehicles, with consumer smartphone apps for booking convenience.

The Sherlock installation process ran smoothly over four months with an on-site team of experts at the office to closely support any needs and queries.

Dunedin is now operated by the Sherlock Auto Allocator; it suggests the most appropriate driver for the job due to requests and location. The solution also allows us to offer a customer booking app. Both these functions have allowed Dunedin a competitive advantage within Edinburgh.
