Asheville Taxi, North Carolina launches with Sherlock Taxi dispatch.
Serving the Asheville community with a fleet of around 60 drivers, Asheville Taxi has been providing reliable taxi services, airport transfers, and business transport since 2014.
Before switching to Sherlock, Asheville Taxi relied on a dispatch platform that no longer met its growing needs. Key challenges included inaccurate trip allocation and problems with reporting and pricing.
A core part of Asheville’s business is a contract with the local airport which requires a seamless data integration as a legal requirement within the state - but this was not possible with their existing supplier. Additionally, previous reporting functionality was not giving accurate information on airport trip pricing data.
