Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Sherlock Taxi

It’s been a great year for Sherlock Taxi with several new clients going live with us and many others lined up for 2019. These are just some of the clients that launched with us in 2018:

  • Streamline Taxisa company on the coast in Brighton with 650 drivers which has been in business since 1936!
  • myCar: a start-up in Australia - a new geographical location for Sherlock Taxi
  • One Touch: a new client in Sri Lanka which brings together tuk tuks and private hire vehicles
  • Luxe Cars: a start-up in Peterborough that's growing quickly!

 

Professional Driver QSi Awards 

As you probably know, the Professional Driver QSi Awards is the only UK award show dedicated to the Chauffeur, Private Hire and Taxi industry.

We were delighted to see our customer, Airport Lynx win big at this year's show.

Airport Lynx first entered the awards four years ago and has previously won Gold for Chauffeur Operator of the year in the Medium sized category.

Since then the business has grown and entered this year's awards in the Large Chauffeur Operator category and were delighted to pick up Gold again against some really big players in the business!

CEO Steve Russell noted, “It is an incredible accolade to be recognised as a strong and respected brand. We are a strong team with huge respect for the customers we have the opportunity to serve. To have that reflected, by our peers, will keep us warm no matter what the chill factor is outside.”

Product and team updates from us 

2018 saw our development team implement nearly 700 new features and improvements. These features range from simple changes in the back end of the system right up to a complete re-design on the customer app.

Following on from that re-design, we have also begun working on our new driver app which completely re-designs workflow and improves functionality for drivers.

We have recently hired additional Android developers dedicated to working on the driver app and we are also really excited to announce that the Support team has increased by 50% to ensure that we can provide an even better level of service and quick response times to you all.
